Obituary

Loving and caring through her final breath, Barbara Ann Guardino passed away peacefully into Heaven on Monday, January 29.Born Barbara Ann Server on January 11, 1934 to Everett & Velta Server in Lawton, Oklahoma, the second of four children Tom, Dion and Mary. Seeking a better life, Barbara and her family moved to San Jose when she was 13 years old.A graduate of James Lick High School, she met her future husband Richard Ventura Guardino at 14. They married in 1954 at Saint Patrick’s Church in San Jose.The mother of four sons; William Richard (Bill), Michael Joseph, Mark Anthony and Carl Thomas. She loved her sons and daughters-in-law; Janet, Patti, Chris and Leslee. Her grandchildren brought her great joy; Natalie (and husband Danny), Nancy (and husband Tim), Billy (and wife Carrie), Jessica, Siena, Jake, Chris (and wife Ashley) and David. Barbara was blessed with four great grandchildren Taylor, Teagan, Naomi and Geo.Barbara will be forever remembered for her love for others, her kindness to everyone who crossed her path, and her dedication to her family and friends.Her love also extended to her sweet dog Mi Amigo, with whom she would take long walks 3-4 times each day until her final days. Her entire family deeply grieves her passing, but rejoices in the memories of each day invested in her company, and the knowledge that she is now with the Lord in Heaven. A memorial service will be held on February 16, 6pm, Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N.Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara.
