Obituary

Jane (“Janie”) Helen Felix passed away on Friday February 2nd 2024 at Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center. In her final days she was surrounded by friends and family who came to return the love and support that Janie was so very well known for providing to others. Janie was born on August 5th,1961 in San Jose, CA to John Richard Felix and Jane Arden Felix. She graduated in 1979 from Monta Vista High School and went on to the University of California Berkeley where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Very much following in the footsteps of her parents who were both teachers, Janie held numerous positions throughout her career, all involving corporate training and sales enablement. She was a devout Christian, active in her church throughout her entire life. While a Board member of the Child Advocates of Silicon Valley, Janie sponsored two teenage girls who benefited greatly from Janie’s motherly talents.After searching many years for “Mr. Right”, Janie’s patience paid off and found the love of her life. She married Chuck Adams in October, 2008. Chuck and his two son’s Zac and Brandon fulfilled Janie’s lifelong dream of being a Wife and Mother and ultimately a Grandmother. Janie beamed with pride telling her friends that she was officially an “Oma”, a beloved name she wore with pride.Janie is survived by her loving husband Chuck Adams, their sons Zachary and Brandon, her brother John Felix and his wife Kristen Tehaney and their 5 children, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to Child Advocates of Silicon Valley (www.childadvocatessv.org) would be appreciated. Services are to be held on Saturday February 17th at 2:30 at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church located at 15040 Union Ave in San Jose.
