Gilberto was born in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his wife Susie of 73 years. His children Gilbert and daughter-in-law Sue, Ernest and daughter-in-law Karen, Grandchildren: Raymond and daughter-in-law Vicki, Deanna, Melissa and son-in-law Nick, Ernest II and Matthew. Greatgrandchildren: Paul, Faith, Kaylee, Christian and Sydney. His sisters Estella, Gloria and brother Carlos. Preceded in death by his father Gregorio and mother Margarita, his brothers Raymond and Edward. Services will be held on Feb. 22 at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 300 Curtner Ave. San Jose, CA, 95125. Viewing starts at 10:00am in the “Chapel of Roses”, Gravesite service at 12:15pm and reception to follow.
